Airport delivery costs $200. A flight nanny travels with the puppy in the aircraft cabin and hands it to you personally in the arrivals hall.

01How it works

A flight nanny — an adult travelling as a passenger — carries the puppy in an approved carrier in the aircraft cabin. The puppy is not shipped as cargo and is not placed in the hold.

The nanny remains with the puppy for the whole journey and hands it to the buyer, in person, in the arrivals area of the destination airport.

02Supported airports

Delivery is to a major airport reasonably close to the buyer. Which airports are supported depends on routing and on the nanny's availability.

We fly into every major US airport. Where a direct route is not available on your preferred date, we will say so and offer the nearest alternative or a different date rather than routing a puppy through an unnecessary connection.

Where a buyer's nearest airport is not supported, the seller will say so before a method is agreed rather than after.

03Before travel day

  1. The balance is settled and travel is booked.
  2. Flight timing is agreed with the buyer and confirmed in writing 24–48 hours ahead.
  3. The buyer confirms the name and mobile number of the adult who will meet the flight.
  4. The buyer books the 72-hour veterinary examination for a time after the expected arrival.

04On the day

  1. The puppy is fed and toileted on a schedule suited to the flight, then settled into the carrier.
  2. The buyer receives departure confirmation and travel details.
  3. The buyer must be at the airport before the scheduled arrival and must remain reachable by telephone.
  4. At handoff, identification is checked, records and countersigned documents are handed over, and the buyer has a few minutes with the puppy before leaving.

Bring: photo identification, a secure carrier or harness for the car journey home, water, and a towel.

05Delays, diversions and cancellations

Where a flight is delayed, the nanny remains with the puppy and the buyer is kept informed. Where a flight is cancelled or a route becomes unavailable, travel is rescheduled at the earliest safe opportunity at no additional charge.

Where the buyer fails to meet the flight and cannot be reached, the nanny will not leave the puppy unattended. Any resulting cost of care or return travel is the buyer's responsibility, and the seller must state how that cost is calculated.

Where a buyer cannot be reached and the flight is missed, the nanny stays with the puppy and we arrange care or return travel. Those costs are charged at cost, with receipts.

06Airline and welfare rules

All air travel is subject to the airline's live-animal rules and to applicable animal transport regulations, including minimum age, health documentation and temperature restrictions. Where those rules prevent travel on a given date, travel is rescheduled.

07Immediately after arrival

Take the puppy straight home. Offer water, allow toileting, and keep the first evening quiet. Attend the veterinary examination within 72 hours of the handoff — the window runs from handoff, not from the following morning.
