Home delivery costs $250. The puppy travels by road in a climate-controlled vehicle and is handed to a named adult at your address.

01How it works

The puppy travels by road in a climate-controlled vehicle, secured appropriately for the journey, with scheduled stops for water, toileting and rest. It is handed to a named adult at the address given in the agreement.

02Service area

Home delivery is available within a defined radius or region.

Ground delivery is available across all 50 states. Longer routes are scheduled with more rest stops rather than driven faster.

Where an address falls outside the served area, the seller will say so before a method is agreed. An address that is difficult to reach — a private road, a gated development, a rural route without a reliable address point — should be flagged in advance.

03Scheduling

A delivery window is confirmed in writing 24–48 hours before travel. Road journeys are inherently variable; the window is an estimate made in good faith and updated on the day if it moves.

The buyer must provide a mobile number that will be answered on the day, and must ensure a named adult is present. Delivery is not left with a neighbour, a building concierge or an unnamed third party under any circumstances.

04At the handoff

  1. Identification is checked against the name in the agreement.
  2. The puppy is handed over together with its food, feeding sheet, records and comfort item.
  3. Countersigned documents are exchanged.
  4. The buyer has time with the puppy, and time to ask questions, before the driver leaves.

Have ready: a crate or a prepared quiet space, water, puppy pads or an accessible toileting spot, and the contact details of the veterinary practice where the 72-hour examination is booked.

05Access and safety

The handoff takes place at the address given, at the door or immediately outside it. The driver may decline to proceed where the situation at the address appears unsafe for the puppy or for the driver, in which case the seller will contact the buyer to agree an alternative.

06Delays and rescheduling

Traffic, weather and road closures can move a delivery window. Where a delivery cannot be completed safely on the agreed day, it is rescheduled at no additional charge.

Where the buyer is not present and cannot be reached at the agreed window, the puppy is not left. The seller must state how a failed delivery attempt is handled and costed.

Where nobody is present at the agreed window and the buyer cannot be reached, the puppy is never left. Redelivery is arranged and charged at cost.

07After delivery

Keep the first evening quiet: no visitors, no outings, no introductions to other animals beyond a brief and supervised look. Attend the veterinary examination within 72 hours of handoff.
